From the Managing Director...
When speaking to some of our valued customers at last year's ASIAL Security Conference in Sydney, I learned that many of them were not aware of either the full range of solutions we can deliver for them or the extent of our geographical coverage.
Optic delivers security to organisations through design, installation, service and maintenance of electronic security systems – from CCTV to intruder detection systems, intercoms to physical access control systems, and beyond. In addition to those systems, we also provide cybersecurity services, delivering ‘converged’ 360-degree protection.
Through our Optic IQ division, we're also delivering innovative 'smart' tech-enabled solutions via capabilities such as solid-state radar, biometrics, and advanced video analytics. These can deliver enhanced security benefits - often more efficiently than traditional platforms - while also adding value well beyond security.
The Group has a particularly strong presence in Defence, law enforcement, border security, healthcare, airports, and the critical infrastructure sectors. While some of what we do we can't discuss, the knowledge and skillsets gained in these high-requirement, high-consequence settings enable us to be market leaders in design and installation. Consequently, we’re able to provide to you the most advanced converged security capability in the market.
While this is something to be proud of, our customers also need responsive support for these innovative products when the need arises. This support is delivered by our more than 170 staff who are based in offices in Gladstone, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Alice Springs, Darwin, Broome, Perth, and New Zealand's North and South Islands.
