The city of Darwin has developed and implemented #SmartDarwin - its first Smart City Strategy - to drive prosperity supported by 21st century digitally and data-enabled technology. As part of this ground-breaking initiative, Optic Security Group managed a project to deliver the installation of 111 networked CCTV cameras at 39 locations within the Darwin CBD. Delivered on time and on budget, the project received extremely positive client reviews, and it took out the 2019 Australian Security Industry Association (ASIAL) award for 'Special event or project over $500,000'.
